Detailing crimes against characters and narrative, both real and imagined in-story, that involve excessive and senseless dismemberment, disembowelment, decapitation, and overall dementia that such atrociousness usually take place under without any plot-given reason as to why besides "motherfuckers need to die!!!" Code 187: Senseless Bloodshed, for stories who try to shock factor with absurd amounts of gore and butcher characterization where it isn't justified (Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory come to mind).

Vampirism and demons in general may be exempt from this rule of deviancy, given they're justified in-story somehow.
