The front page of the group says that we can "post stories relevant to care and love". Given the caretaker-oriented nature of this group, I'd like to clarify how broad in scope that statement is.

At one extreme, it suggests it would be welcome to post any story demonstrating such virtues, such as a fic about a generally compassionate relationship between any of the Main Six or a fic in which everyday family members interact affectionately, with no reference to official caretakers required or to caretaking per se.

At the other extreme, it suggests that only stories focusing on the role of caretakers would be allowed, or starring caretakers. For instance, it could be a fic about Nurse Redheart's day giving ponies home visits, or a fic about Applejack having to care for a sick family member. Obviously, there are a range of possibilities between these two extremes as well.

With all that in mind, what kind of stories would be considered acceptable for the purposes of this group? In what sense must they be relevant to care and love?
