How do you think Pinkie feels about black comedy and comedic sociopathy?

Oh, this is going to be a debate worth observing!

I think it's very much based on the setting that Pinkie finds herself in.

Pinkie in the show is an eternal optimist, so dark humor will go completely over her head. Her grumbling in "The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows" is about as dark as Pinkie gets without suffering a psychotic break a la "Part of One".

Now stick her in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where the only rational way to escape the unending torment is suicide? That Pinkie is all about the dark comedy, because that's the only comedy that works.

Similarly, if Ponyville is overrun with psycho killers, where everypony is playing Cupcakes except for her, and everypony is getting away with it because the police are completely useless and/or corrupt, and I could easily see her going down the sociopathic route in her conversations, because her society is literally sick.

The point, as always, is the Pinkie's the funniest character in the room. Unless you're writing one of those kind of stories, but if that's the case, the last thing you're looking for is humor.
