This group is dedicated to archiving all those stories that update at the pace of a tortoise. Their not dead, but you can't be blamed for thinking so. Rather it's because the authors busy, focusing more on other stories, or just lazy, if it takes a year to add a new chapter to a story then it belongs here. It doesn't matter if it's on a schedule or not, if it takes forever IT TAKES FOREVER, simple and plane.
Please keep in mind there is a difference between cancelled, on hiatus, and taking a long time. Some people do just disappear and never mark a story as needed and there are other such problems so here is a dandy list of rules to help guide you through the jungle that is slow stories.
Rules:
1.A story must still be active to be added. Stories that are officially cancelled or are just in general considered dead are not allowed in the group. The group is for stories that are still alive and are in fact updated, just that it takes time between chapters.
2. A story can still be considered alive up until a year has passed with no activity from the author period. This means not just that the author isn't updating the story, but has not been active at all in any regard within the year.
3. A story that has been put in to hiatus does not count. This rule complies with rule two, but other wise an active author that has chosen to put a story into hiatus is not allowed in the group. A story on hiatus is one were an author has some kind of plan for it and knew it would be taking a long time to update.
4.So there is no confusion or arguments, a story can be considered to have long updates when the wait between them is a month long. While I will be looking at stories on a case by case basis please try to stick to this rule as to keep things simple.
5. Follow basic group politeness regarding spoilers.
6. Abusive or irrelevant stories and threads will be removed and the abuser kicked or permanently banned.
