Since some of these stories deal with forgiveness in some way, I figured these articles would benefit some writers when making stories. (Thanks for giving me Permission Psyga315)

Also EquineAvenger put a few tips when writing Fix Fics/Accusation fics, this is what they said:

I've read a lot of fanfics that are geared toward calling out how dissatisfying an episode, movie, or comic was. When I started making my own fics, I came up with some tips that I believe are the ingredients to making these kinds of fics good. Here's what I have to share:

• Make sure the characters at fault know the depths of their wrong actions and suffer the consequences of them. It’s bad enough that they commit such despicable acts, but to not properly atone for them is worse. Make them feel utter remorse for what they’ve done. It would serve them right to be under the tropes: My God, What Have I Done?, Heel Realization, and/or Jerkass Realization on TV Tropes. Give us some karma, what goes around must come around.

• My personal opinion, if you’re doing an alternate take on an event or a sequel to it, I find it’s interesting to have a really horrible villain who takes advantage of the heroes’ terrible actions. An antagonist so vile and so evil in order to direct most of the readers’ contempt from the characters at fault and give them more reason to fix their mistakes, give the readers someone to truly root against. I recommend the villain be worthy of the tropes: Hate Sink and/or Complete Monster on TV Tropes.

• Make the atonement of the heroes’ crimes to those they’ve wronged very heartwarming. What do we want just as much to see jerks get what’s coming to them? Seeing them make amends to those they’ve wronged. We want the characters to redeem themselves to the ones they’ve hurt and the fans they’ve angered.

Do you agree with these tips? These don't just apply to My Little Pony or Equestria Girls fanfics, you can use these to write fics for other dissatisfying moments in entertainment media, like the episode No Such Luck from The Loud House and others. Hope some of you find this interesting.

Kinda deconstructs the concept of forgiveness if you ask me.

Forgiveness often has to be earned not just given freely.
Susnet earned her forgiviness why shoudl the Rainbooms get it easily and right away?

there's an old saying as well

I'm a good enough person to forgive you, but not stupid enough to trust you again

That apply to the Rainbooms or Sunset?

My grandpa said:
"Sometimes, "I forgive you" basically means "I give you an opportunity to put even more knifes in my back.""

Yeah. People always say that Forgiveness is earned not given.

and here's two more things you should remember

Trust is like paper, once it’s crumpled it can’t be perfect again

Grab a plate and throw it on the ground.
-OK, Done.
Did it break?
-Yes.
Now say sorry to it.
-Sorry.
Did it go back to the way it was before?
-No
Do you understand?

Forgiving someone and letting them back into your life are two very different things that people often clump together, mistakenly believing that to do one you must do the other.

I personally believe that the forgiveness must come from the person wronged and it must be on their terms not yours

That is one form of forgiveness. What you are referring to is known in some circles as Personal Forgiveness: forgiveness stemming from a singular entity. There is also Societal Forgiveness And Self Forgiveness. Societal Forgiveness usually refers to a society at large forgiving someone for something (usually a crime) and allowing them to go on with the rest of their lives under the assumption that they've changed for the better. Self Forgiveness is referred to as when an individual has come to grips with some action that they've previously hated themselves for, and been able to find some form of personal redemption.

I'm not trying to be passive aggressive or preachy. I'm just sharing info and stuff.

Trust is something that most definitely has to be earned, but forgiveness is a choice up to the individual. There is no definitive "right" way to get closure, and sometimes that involves forgiveness, and sometimes it doesn't.

And Sunset? She is not "obligated" to forgive. She does not "owe" anyone a second chance, just like she wasn't "owed" one. If she chooses to forgive, that is completely up to her, and no one has any right to tell her otherwise.

The concept of forgiveness was always interesting to me because it can be done in many ways. I’ve seen the concept done bad and good. Most of the bad one are from sunset fics.
