Elma served as the Colonel of the Skell Squad before the destruction of Earth. In her new life on Mira, she is a Captain of BLADE and leads the Reclaimers Division. She commands a high level of respect among her peers and is the first person to greet Cross.

I like Elma because of her strong sense of duty. She is always willing to act and cuts through the nonsense. I voted for her on the Smash Ballot alongside the likes of Inkling and Rundas. She deserves the first character spotlight.

Perhaps Elma is a Samaarian herself. The game states the reason that Earth's technology came from Elma, and other species are puzzled as to how Elma even gained technology that are considered unheard of such as the mimeosomes.
