Why wouldn't exists life in this group? There are members here, right?

There are. But does that mean there is life here? Currently, it's more like there are accounts here. The forum is inactive for a long time now. I mean to revive the group, but I never find time to make a concept and plan that will bring long-lasting activity back, at the side of my writing. And doing that has been proven difficult in the past.

That sounds better. :scootangel:

Discord is probably the worst thing that has happened for Fimfiction's forums. Ever since it came around, everyone has been socialising on Discord instead of here.

Discord is a double-edged sword. The servers are fun and there are many great uses for them. But the chat nature of the conversations hardly allows for any archiving of memorable fandom events and history. And the private nature of community servers (that sounds really paradox and it is), that you need a link to join them, a link that is often not publicly available or if it is, expires after a short time, as it is the case with servers of pony artists who gather a community of their fans around them, is ripe for abuse if the server owner is a jerk.
Even if a public join link of a Discord server is permanently available, there is still a lot of potential for abuse then. A jerkish community server owner or even people who don't want to have someone on a community server, because they hate the user in question for no other reason than their own moral failures and their judgemental mindset, and who are buddies with the server owner, can easily keep someone away from not only participating in a community Discord server, but also from accessing information there.
What the owner of the PonyFest Online Discord server, and certain, unknown people in the shadows of that server, did to me was not fine. To speak it mildly.
This couldn't be happening in a forum. You can still get your account banned in a forum, but even then, you can access and read the information there. Unless you got IP-banned, but IP bans are thankfully rarely used when banning a user's account.
This is why forums are better for conversation and sharing information.
