And it's another week..... We are close to the end of the season now, but still have a few episodes left, and this one will contribute to an end on a high note.
Hints were given to us that we will finally find out about the parents of Applebloom, Applejack and Big McIntosh. How did they look? How were their personalities? And, most importantly, how did they die?
At least two of these questions will definitely get answered in this episode. And if the third question gets answered too..... The show will take a turn to the much darker side. What does Applejack know about her parents' death and what is burdening her about it?
We will find out in a few hours.....

Well, no feels at all..... Discovery Family trolled us hard with that synopsis.

And I spotted a "Shining" reference!

And yeah, I liked it to see Ponyville in the past too. There was even Derpy as a teenager, getting some treatment for her eyes in the hospital!
But I'm also craving more now. Somehow, this episode wasn't enough for me, I would have liked to see even more of the Ponyville of the past.
I hope Season 7 delivers with this!

This episode was lacking in the one thing I wanted: history on the Apple parents. That was all I wanted out of this.

I personally think this episode was great! Although we didn't learn anything about Applejack's parents(and no baby Applebloom), we found out just how bad of a liar Applejack really was. It wasn't until Big Macintosh was in danger when she told everypony she was lying. This is a great explanation to why Apple Jack almost always tells the truth(The Last Round-up)
