i have had this theory where rosedust put a curse on her kingdom, making herself and all the other flutterponies turn into changelings.
probbably somewhere along the line that rosedust wanted to make herself look either more beautiful or younger, but insted turning her into a horrid creature, a punishment for trying to be vain
