Admins post rule ideas in comments. This thread will be deleted upon the groups official release to the public.

Rule of thumb, don't be a dick.

Remember, this group is meant to assist in the story making process, not write a story for you. Story Idea threads are to help you refine an existing idea and help expand it by offering advice and suggestions. Everyone posting is there to help and are doing this out of the kindness of their heart, not because they are forced to. So be polite to commenters.

If you have an issue with a member, please contact a group admin.

Posting Story ideas:

1. Create a Thread. It should start with [Story Idea] 'Insert Story Title Here'
2. Quickly describe your idea as clearly as possible. Remember to list possible tags, characters, concepts, and your main reason for writing this story. Whether it's for fun, a contest, a commission or simply because you think there are not enough of this specific type of story, the reason you are creating this story is almost as important as the story itself.
3. Clearly ask what kind of help you are looking for. Are you looking for possible plot lines? Help with characterization? Assistance in dialogue? Wondering if your story is even interesting?
4. Always remember to make a note of anyone who gave you an idea that really inspired you or that supplied an OC or any other idea, if you use their ideas, it's only fair to credit them.
5. End with a word of thanks. It always pays to be polite.

Responding to a [Story Idea] Post.
1. Constructive criticism only. Comments should be at least be two sentences long and explain what you think of an idea and why.
2. Be prepared to elaborate on any idea you share with the threads creator. You may have just inspired him/her, or confused the hell out of them.
3. Keep all conversations within the thread relevant to the story idea, this is there to help the prospective writer, not act as a chat room. I'm sure there are threads for that.
4. Have some common courtesy.
5. Don't post anything you don't want the other guy to use
