In Volume One, after Kirito's duel with Paladin Healthcliff, Kirito recounts the story of the Black Cats of the Full Moon. In it, he mentions that the leader was a female named Kayta. However, in Volume Two, in the Red-nosed Reindeer story, the name of the guild leader is changed to Keita and is male.

Name changes are not uncommon in the various forms of media that SAO is presented in. However, this is the first time I noticed within the same form of media, and the first sex change.

Although I'm probably looking into this too much, I'm interested. What do you think the reason was?

5228717 No I'm pretty sure Klein remained the same. They saw less of each other in the anime than in the light novel, but nonetheless Klein didn't change, in name or personality. I might just have been the subs that spelled his name wrong
