I've been watching a lot of Scientology TV recently. My favorite series are these BS stories L Ron Hubbard tells. Perhaps the craziest one is the one where he saves the world. Basically, L Ron Hubbard stopped a group of atomic physicists who were planning to use the newly invented atomic bomb to overthrow the US government and then take over the world!

Basically, putting restraints on nukes was L Ron's idea. So was the air force. And radar.

For context, in previous stories, L Ron established that in WWII he fought in both the Pacific and Atlantic theater. In the atalantic he was given a cruiser filled with 100 hardened criminals who he turned around into straight laced model soldiers and was so succesful at destroying German u-boats that he was given the right to command any ship. In the pacific he sunk several japanese submarines until he was machine gunned in the back, leaving him crippled until he healed himself with Scientology.
