Grammar: 8/10 -- The tense slid around between present and past.
Characterization: 0/10 -- Is this what the inside of Scootaloo's brain is like? I didn't buy it. It feels like a Scootaloo grabbed from another universe, stuck and mired in their self-pity. The further the story goes, the more alien this pony becomes.
Use of show canon: 5/10 -- Scootaloo has no parents visible in the show. Staff has said 'They're just not around.' Fine, so we get some stand ins... and they're foster, and Scoots doesn't seem to be 100% alright with them, so... mmm, this isn't like watching an episode.
Plot consistency: 7/10 It's written as a bunch of diary entries, so some choppiness is expected. It still felt overly awkward.
Coherence: 8/10 Whoever this strange filly is, she's consistently... whoever she is. She's not Scootaloo.
Total: 28/50, 56%, Fail. I really... can't recommend this one. I had to hit a fail eventually, I suppose.
