Primals are embodiments of different elements. In some cases they're the embodiments of nature and others are creatures powerful enough to decimate armies yet smart enough to make intelligent decisions. All are capable of speech but some choose not to use it. They do not age, they possess powers unlike any other creatures.... but they are not Great Beings. Unlike Great Beings they can be killed but unlike normal creatures they appear to reform over time. There is only one of each of them yet according to death reports and appearances they seem to reform over millennia. They also have the uncanny knack of forcing their themes to play when they begin their fights... Pinkie and Discord are puzzled by this.

It is important to note that there are two versions to each primal. The normal one is one that occurs naturally, within the balance of the worlds. They appear, they fade, the cycle continues. The second version damages the planet that they are on. Those that worship them can summon them with an offering of aether and crystals but doing so also causes a massive amount of aether to be drained and a version of the primal to be summoned that is naught but a twisted shade to the original. The Bahamut sealed within Dalamud was one such shade, but powerful enough to still raze a country. Those in power should actively look for large quantities of crystals being purchased, sold, or stolen.

Leviathan

My power is the very power to cleanse all things. The power of the relentless onslaught of waves! Your flesh will feed my minions!

The primal of the oceans. He is worshipped by some sects of Sea Ponies and has immense powers over water. He is territorial and if something enters his territory, whether or not it is intentional, he will attack. His most common attacks involve sending a Tsunami at invading ships or wrapping his long body around them to drag them to the ocean's bottom. His power over water is almost absolute, rendering him near invulnerable while he is in it. The first known defeat involved him being tricked onto land. Whether or not this is the case is up for debate as he has never ventured onto land again, preferring to send tidal waves after the cities he is annoyed with.

Ifrit

Your body and soul shall burn!

Primal of fire

This is one of the few primals who does not make his residence within the normal plane of existence in Terra. To find him, one must either find a portal within a volcano or create a fire massive enough to summon him. He is known for his rage and his immense destructive power. His normal area of existence gives a clue to where the primals go upon death and it is rumored that they regenerate in this area before returning to our plane of existence.

Lu Bu

I am the greatest warrior this world has ever seen!

Primal of war

Being the only primal to sport an actual human form, he is regarded as the most devastating foe to ever be faced on Terra. He reappears soon after he is forgotten in history to devastate nations and it normally requires the forces of the world to team up and fight him. Legend states he slew 1000 soldiers per day and it took the combined efforts of 3 nations to catch him and his brother. His burning fighting spirit turned him into the primal of war soon after his first defeat ended in his execution as a millennia later he reappeared once again to fight. He possesses no wants anymore, save to find a worthy foe who can best him alone.

Gilgamesh

Enough expository banter! Now we fight like men! And ladies! And ladies who dress like men! For Gilgamesh, it's morphing time!

Primal of combat.

Gilgamesh lives for the fight and given that he has massive power and appears at different points in time he is considered a primal. What differentiates him from Lu Bu is how he acts. Unlike Lu Bu he will always make it a fair fight, he never goes for a kill and above all else... he's never died in combat. This is possible through how he travels. With his weapons he can cut open passageways into the Rift where he will travel not only through worlds but through dimensions. He abhors war itself and prefers to have fights to find challenges and to learn about his opponents. If you get to know him he's actually a nice guy... if a little hammy

Ba'al I : Turtle Dove

Primal of Love

Despite having that strange title, She does have power over love. Specifically one of her attacks forces 2 beings into romantic love and she can also instantly knock out any couple in love. Normally she's peaceful and benevolent and was worshipped as a god for a bit of time. When she was revealed to be a false god she began attacking and it took many soldiers to finally subdue her. apart from her love abilities she also can shoot feather needles from her wings and perform other aerial attacks.

Fun little note: Her name actually means False Idol and the roman numeral does indicate there are other Ba'al primals

Bahamut

Primal of Dragons/Elder Primal

Having dominion over dragons ensures he has a massive army at any point in time and is extremely powerful even on his own. He is imprisoned within the moon of Terra(though when he was imprisoned it was called Dalamud). He originally appeared to bring an end to wars on Terra and it took the warriors who have since then been called the Warriors of Light to imprison him within there... at the cost of their own lives. His most powerful attack is known as Mega Flare and is able to pierce any sort of shield.

In the third astral era, the warriors of Allag waged war against the dragons of Meracydia. With no act too depraved for their purposes, the Allagans quickly gained ground. In desperation, the Meracydians called upon Bahamut, who rose as a primal to face off against the invaders. This turned against them as well as the Allagans imprisoned Bahamut and used him as a source of energy even after their fall. This has lead to his everlasting hatred for all mankind.

Primal Groudon

Primal of the Land

Groudon is a titan that slumbers deep beneath the land within a pool of lava. In its normal state it is powerful enough to dry up the worlds oceans. Normally it's not a Primal either and it's one of two Primals that require an item to turn into. The item in question is the Red Orb that is hidden far away from it. Once it obtains it, Groudon must undertake a journey to a now buried hall to return to its Primal state via Primal Reversion. Once it does this it is entirely possible for it to dry up the world in a matter of hours. It also gains a massive amount of strength. Only a fool would reawaken Groudon much less supply it with the Red Orb... great there's gonna be an idiot who does that isn't there.

Theme

Primal Kyogre

Primal of the Ocean

Like Groudon, it requires an Orb to revert to Primal status. The Blue Orb needed is once again hidden in a secure location far from Kyogre's underwater location. In its normal form, Kyogre is able to flood the world in a few days and its Primal form can accomplish this in a matter of hours. It too requires a journey to the buried hall in order to regain its former strength. However it is entirely possible to stop it before it reaches there... same with Groudon. Do not underestimate either of them as their command of nature is ferocious and deadly.

Nyx(upper)/Nyx Avatar(lower)

The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate...
Entrusting his future to the cards, man clings to a dim hope
Yes, the Arcana is the means by which all is revealed...

Primal of The Fall

Nyx is normally a neutral being, locked behind the doors of the rift. However if the consciousnesses of humans give out negativity, it will be released and begin the events leading to The Fall aka the apocalypse. It will choose a recently deceased individual and turn it into its avatar and after thirteen full moons, the avatar will spawn. It makes its residence within a strange structure known as Tartarus that appears at a hidden time known as the Dark Hour. Normal beings are locked within coffins during this time so for them, the Dark Hour does not exist. Those that are outside of the coffins are able to enter Tartarus to attempt to ascend it. However monsters known as Shadows roam throughout Tartarus and actively attack those who remain awake. When finally confronting the avatar, it will fight using Arcanae to represent its skillsets as well as its resistances. This will always be a long fight as the avatar goes through 14 Arcana total and the last Arcana is its most powerful, being the inverse of death. Covering all the Arcana it goes through would make this ridiculously long so a link shall be provided for it. Death comes to all things naturally. It's a change, a transition. Yet the inverse represents nothing but despair and sorrow. Defeat the avatar... and Nyx will return to its resting place, satisfied that the residents wish to live longer.

Ameno-Sagiri[left]/Izanami-no-okami(right)

You'll accomplish nothing. That is the truth. To defy me is a senseless act that goes against your world's wishes. Now, let everything vanish into the sweet fog of illusion! Let it begin! - Ameno-Sagiri

How foolish... your actions will draw many back into suffering and strife! Why will you not understand this? - Ameno-Sagiri

Knowledge of the truth is not everything. Yet drunk with truth, you exceeded your role and became too involved... Now, learn for yourselves whose wrath you have brought down! - Izanami-no-okami

You cannot defeat me with strength alone. Soon, you will understand. - Izanami-no-Okami

Primal of The Truth

Ameno-Sagiri and Izanami-no-Okami are one and the same, the former being a part of the latter. Ameno will appear when it seems that the sentient beings of the multiverse want to be lost within the fog of deception and confusion and attempt to grant this wish. Spewing forth the bewildering fog, it will cause changes in everyone to the point where they will become Shadows, the locked away portion of their personality. The main way you can tell when it arrives is if a strange fog stays within a world for longer than it should and if mysterious things, such as murders that have no seemingly obvious cause of death and strange body locations or people/ponies behaving oddly, are occurring. Ameno-Sagiri in turn is a ferocious fighter, being able to utilize the elements, buffs and debuffs, and even the Bewildering Fog as an attack. Yet for all this it truly believes that it is trying to do the right thing. It is called forth by the desires of the many to try to grant them even if doing so will cause even more strife. He will always accept defeat, yet warn that if the desires for the world to remain obscure return, so will he.

Then we get to the true problem, Izanami. Locked away by her husband after he journeyed to the afterlife to retrieve her and she attacked him, her rage and fury turned her into a Great Being. Yet the gods chose to not let her keep most of her power and split her into numerous fragments, effectively demoting her to Primal. Ameno-Sagiri was one of those fragments and the others were not powerful enough to be Primals. She is the one behind the creation of the fog and a specialized scheme to draw beings into wanting the fog of bewilderment. She is much more powerful than Ameno-Sagiri and in turn was sealed away by a force so strong, it would take a lot to break it. However she is able to slip a bit of her power by to watch the worlds events unfold. She is the one behind calling Ameno-Sagiri and his siblings each time. She is the one who always provides the targeted world with a chance of survival. And she is the one, in the end, who will gamble it all on one's will to see the truth to the end. She will sometimes challenge people/ponies to combat if they show a remarkable strength of will in dealing with Ameno-Sagiri. However they must traverse her prison, known as Yomotsu Hirasaka, before reaching her. The combatants must be willing to go as far as they must to discover the truth, even if it may cost them their lives, if they are to have a chance against her. Admittedly... she still considers herself a god even if she isn't one.

Titan - Primal of the Earth

Sons of man! Murderers of my children!

Revered by the Kobolds of La Noscea, Titan is known as the Lord of Crags and Primal of the Earth. As his name states, he has unparalleled command over the earth and its elements. His arena, called The Navel, is destructible by him when he crashes down on it and has no ring around the outer edge. This is due to his fighting style which knocks opponents off the edge and kills them instantly if he manages to do so. While Titan is ferocious in battle and powerful to boot, he is actually not unnecessarily hostile.

Titan's wish is to protect his followers and only attacks those who threaten them or have wronged them. Admittedly his summoned primal form is at the beck and call of the Kobolds, but that is only summoned in times of great strife and doesn't last long. Titan's most recent appearance was heralded by earthquakes in the area of La Noscea and appeared to aid his people from what was believed marauding against the Kobolds. While resolved peacefully, he was summoned forcibly twice more in greater strengths(larger amounts of crystals and prayers) and had to be forcibly put to bed again. Should you meet Titan, be polite, be respectful... and have a plan to kill him should things go nuts.

Sephirot - Elder Primal - codenamed The Fiend

"Pestilent northerners! You will regret loosening my fetters!"

Sephirot is an Elder Primal. Yes there is more than one, yes they are absurdly powerful, yes all of them usually are sealed away or in deep slumber due to their summoning methods being erased from history. Sephirot was claimed to be a tree of life before worship transformed him into a primal. His domain is life, being able to create it at a whim and at one time being a very benevolent god because of this. Unfortunately, an empire by the name of Allag managed to capture him and 3 other Elder Primals, so great was their power. Sephirot and 2 others were locked within a power generator and codenamed the Warring Triad, each with their own separate designation.

Due to this, Sephirot is wont to attack anyone of the race of man. His fighting style normally revolves around hard hitting punches, spiny vines, dropping acidic sap, and then charging up a massive attack while his minions hit you. However, during his ultimate mode, he will enlarge himself and deal damage through heavy hitting slaps, punches and shockwaves. He also is able to blow people away fairly easily, create pillars underneath them, and one sweep of his arm across a platform is enough to kill anyone standing on it at the time. His rage is highly justified, if you see him, do not attempt to engage him. merely run.

4013332 Thank you. I do have Primal ideas for "The Fall" aka the apocalypse and "The Truth" both based off of Persona. So far I've got Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and Dynasty Warriors Primals
