From what I've seen, group advertisement is done by either posting stories or hosting competitions.
Most groups simply advertise themselves because they are directed to a particular type of stories, all the members need to do is well search for this type of stories to post, and the more the stories have impact, the more people are likely to find the group.
Our particular problem is that this group is not directed toward a type of stories, but the audience themselves.
