Oh, don't get me wrong; Other than the movie dragging along for far too long, it was visually extremely well done AND on top of that, the CGI that was in there was great as well...

It's just that the tension in the movie was far too stretched for me to lose interest at the end.

I've devoured book #1 in almost a heartbeat, at the end of book #2 I was like "So I guess this happened", and I fell asleep by the middle of book #3.
