I'm honestly confused because it seems like your contradicting yourself but... okay. I don't really see the point in continuing this conversation, so goodbye:twilightsmile:

414556 No sarcasm. Just look at your own link that you posted. Gender equality is not part of the Bible. The opposite is true.

As for the other part; just because My Kampf has some good advises in it, doesn't make it a good book if the majority of it is bad. Similarly, just because the Bible has some good advises in it, doesn't make it a good book if the majority of it is bad.

If you followed what the Bible says, you'd end up in jail or worse.

The Bible clearly states that they are inferior. Personally, I see gender as irrelevant and the Bible as evil.

Wait, what? Was that sarcasm?

Some things are outdated, strange, or just plain wrong.

Ah, I see. I think got my answer. Still, if you throw one part of the Bible out the window, doesn't it make you question the validity of it as a whole?

I mean, I could live my life by Hitler's Mein Kampf, I'd just have to throw 90% of it away and what I'd be left with would actually be moral and good. Still, I don't think I could call myself a Nazi after doing that.

Aren't you doing the same? Taking the bad book and trying to pull something good out of it? I bet you could do that with Necronomicon if you put your mind to it. In the end, it's not really a book you're following. It's your own set of morals projected on that book.

I have a hard time understanding a Christian who shits on the Bible. The Bible is the core of Christianity. Everything you know about Jesus comes from the Bible. How can you know that 'being gay is a sin' is wrong, while the parts about Jesus are right?

do you believe that women are inferior to men?

The Bible clearly states that they are inferior. Personally, I see gender as irrelevant and the Bible as evil.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this subject. I still don't get Jew Nazis and gay Christians, but maybe I got a step closer to understanding them.

Okay, I can understand that. First off, I'm not gay. Heck, I don't even know if I'm a part of the LGBTQ+ community, aside from possibly being on the ace spectrum. But I support them wholeheartedly. And, as you probably already gathered, I am a Christian. Whether that's my actually faith, or based on the fact that my parents are Christians, it is what it is. Many people are both gay/LGBTQ and Christian. Those things are not at all mutually exclusive. I believe in God and that Jesus was his son for now. (Things are always liable to change, as I'm only 14), However, I also believe in equality. That everyone is equal, and that being intolerant gets you nowhere. It doesn't matter who you love! That's just how you're born. I don't have to follow every thing the Bible lays out. Some things are outdated, strange, or just plain wrong. For example, do you believe that women are inferior to men? And if you do... uhh (Click here for an article I found). I choose to follow my heart, while still choosing my religion as Christianity.

And if you don't agree with me, that's fine! I'm okay with people being very religious, as long as it doesn't hurt others. I just wanted to let you know how I view this topic.

414552 I guess this is the part when I get called a troll again. The truth is, I'm genuinely curious. Gay Christians are as hard for me to grasp as Jew Nazis. The very concept of it makes no sense to me. That's the exact reason why I try to understand it. I wish to dissect a mind of a 'gay Christian' and figure out what mental gymnastics a person like that uses to resist the obvious cognitive dissonance.

414551
I'm not even going to try. Why are you even here?

414550 So, it's kind of like how some fat people tell themselves that one donut isn't gonna make a difference, so they keep eating donuts, using that exact same 'argument'? It's wilful ignorance, yes?

414548 Can you be a gay Christian without picking and choosing quotes from the Bible while ignoring everything that doesn't feel nice?

How does one deal with quotes that directly condemn gay people? Do you just make up stuff like saying it's a translation error or waving a hand at that as if that law somehow isn't applicable anymore because you don't feel like following it?

now this I can get along with

Unlike LGBT groups everywhere else, we actually LIKE to have fun.

The only moderation that will be done is the removal of trigger warnings.

355665
Now that I checked out everything about this group, I know what you're talking about. This is mostly a joke group, but I freaking love funny joke groups like these so I'm sticking around anyways.

Gay Black Jesus. Even better.

No, it's not the same at all. You're crazy.

Not to rain on your parade, but isn't LGBT Bronies the same thing?

http://www.fimfiction.net/group/200357/lgbt-christian-bronies

Wouldn't it be smarter to fold these two groups together to make a bigger community than to have two tiny LGBT-friendly Christian groups?

Can you be gay and Christian at the same time? Doesn't being gay go against the Bible?

Let's fag it up for Christ.

This is a separate but equal safety zone from regular Christian Bronies, which has been very unaccepting toward the homosexual and transgendered members of its community. But all people who want to let Jesus into a bit more than their hearts are welcome.
