Princess Twilight Sparkle was sitting down, reading a Daring Do book, but her mind kept drifting off. As usual she began to daydream about Rainbow Dash, but she remembered that Rainbow Dash was in love with Rarity and not her. Twilight's ears went flat against her head and she sighed softly, then tiredly laid down. She didn't know what to do anymore, she couldn't do much but wait to see what happened.

Rainbow Dash was in Canterlot do to a Wonderbolt Derby she got to be in to test her stuff. After the derby was over she decided see her friend. As she landed on Twi's balcony she peered inside through a window and saw her friend was looking a bit sad. She went inside and asked Twilight, "Hey Twi, what's got you down?"
