Shimmering Honor
Early life

Shimmering grew up in Trottingham, his parents spending most of their time with the less well known Trottingham Wonderbolt branch.

But he had one issue...He couldn't fly...it wasn't till the bullying got to much for him that went to jump off a building, which ended up with him saving a fillies live, earning his cutie mark and the ability to fly...

However, his parents never saw him fly...when he got home after saving the filly, the Guards where waiting with some bad news... his parents had died... a unpredictable and uncontrollable weather phenomenon hit them in mid-flight, something known as a Microburst...

This left him in the care of his aunt and uncle...in Canterlot...

When he turned of age, he joined the Guard... within a year, reaching the rank of Sergeant.

Upon Luna's return, he was hoof picked by the Princess to be her Captain of the Night Guard... this saw him shot up through the ranks and even gain a wife...yet disaster struck once again...

His wife died in a stage coach accident...

Shimmering packed up and flew off...wanting to get away for a week or two, to clear his head... the Pegasus that left Canterlot would never return.

The Rainboom incident

While he was flying, the Unsuspecting Pegasi was knocked out by a Sonic Rainboom from a certian Young Fliers contest...

When he awoke, he was in free fall...he had no memories, after a hard landing he learnt he had Amnesia and had lost his cutie mark...

While in a small town known as Ponyville, he got into an argument with a rainbow mane Pegasi mare who had caused the Rainboom.

After flying off yet again, he got lost...ending up in Appleloosa.

Bounty Hunting (Spoilers to Amnesia and Love from this point on)

Here he learnt of Bounty Hunting and who he was... thanks to a little Princess of the night and a drinking contest.

He decided to not return to Canterlot and carry on as a Guard, but to stay with the ponies of the western regions and become a Bounty Hunter...

He captured his first Bounty that day as well... one mare known as Midnight Storm...

While escorting her on the train to Manehatten. Shimmerings life went south again.

The train was raided... and dropped into a canyon... the only survivors being Shimmering Honor and Midnight Storm.

They headed out to try and get out of the canyon...running into a couple of gangs along the way...and learning of a new feeling...Love...

When the two ponies got to Marktown... they had fallen in love with each other...yet didn't want to tell the other pony...

But it wasn't the only secret to be revealed over their ten day trek...

Shimmering Honor has a second form...one that all Night Guards become to serve the Princess...

A shaft of moonlight broke through the clouds as they started to clear, Shimmering smiled and turned around, He closed his emerald eyes and looked down...

As the moonlight touched his coat, it started to turn a deeper blue, almost purple... He then flared his wings out, the feathers started to shrink and retract, leaving a leathery wing behind...

His ears started to lengthen. He smiled, fangs starting to grow from his jaws...

He lifted his eye lids, the pupils turned into slits surrounded by his emerald irises...
"Zat is better..."

When touched by Moonlight, Shimmering turns into a Bat pony until first light of the day.

Shimmering and Midnight soon realized what they meant to each other before she went on trial for her crimes.

After pleading with Luna, the princess pardoned Midnight Storm...on the condition she become a Bounty Hunter and the Princesses Personal Assassin when needed.

Shimmering and Midnight Married later that month...

Soon opening a small farm outside of Appleloosa, with a herd of cattle for milk, along with carrot, potato, tomato fields, along with other crops.

Shimmering Became Equestria's First Official Bounty Hunter, Midnight being the Second...

They had many an adventure and collected plenty of bounties...from small targets, to internationally wanted crime syndicates.
