Right now I'm working on the facial expressions. The first two are pretty simple mouth parts pasted over the head part, but the third is a bit more complex because it needs to seamlessly replace the old chin so the jaw can be open.
As I continue working on the Hibbityhorse Puppet Template I'll post updates.
Working on the next head piece, a front view, which will be able to double as a back view. In this .gif I'm testing how well it animates from the 3/4 view.
You'll also notice I made the neck thicker. I originally used the thin neck to go for a stylized appearance, but I couldn't quite make the anatomy work right, so I made it thicker, which does look significantly more natural.
Not too terribly proud of this, but I was curious what a "hand stand" would look like, and since it only required two limbs moving to walk I decided to spend five minutes on a quick and dirty animation.
