Depends a lot on how you build it. If you decide to Polymorph(Your Birth Element gains a lot of raw power, but you can't add any other elements to your character) your weapons gain an elemental buff, which in your case would be wind, if that's what you decide on using, but that effect would essentially double if you dual wield weapons.

Among other things, Vanguards are quick compared to most Soldier Hybrid classes, and like Knights they have extremely high Attack, Defense, and Speed.

Snipers are almost always back row characters, Soldiers are middle, and Vanguards are front.

Actually, as a Vanguard you can use Rifles and Long Swords.

Hmm... I can kinda see what you're doing here, Branch one is, essentially, you're single hand guns, about everything that could be lumped under the generic Pistol title(SMGs=Machine Pistols in this scenario).

Branch 2 and 3 would be the same I think, both lumped under Rifle, the only difference being the weight and stats.

Branch 4, assuming you mean Riot Shield, that would be lumped under the Shield part. And Launchers would either be special weapons or Final Thought transformations.

Branch 5 would also be lumped under rifles as well, the same difference as Branch 2 and 3, weight and stats.

I'm trying to keep it simple because a lot of the stuff I have to introduce will get really complicated, and I'm trying to keep confusion down.

But I doubt Quopi would be a good combination with Acid and a Hybrid of Spectre and Enchanter. You might want to wait until I post the species and describe them in greater detail. Although as species I think that would work well with your class and element would be the Animairan, so heads up when I post the species.

Well, in any given species description I want there to be five key points: Beliefs, Economy, Society, Anatomy and History. Along with that are 45 preset instinct points, and ones starting innate ability that anyone of the species can do, along with natural habitats. I haven't really done much for the class system yet, other than decide that each class will offer a different combination of 10 preset instinct points, and that you will be able to put an extra 5 instinct points into anything you want, so that after you finish character creation you will have 60 instinct points total over all. One thing I will need to do eventually though is finding a way to give each birth element separate capabilities, while keeping it balanced among all of them.
