For this February there will be two events:
Original Short Story · 6 Feb 2023 · 2000–8000 words with the Art coming first this time.
AND
Poetry · 15 Feb 2023 · 15–1000 words

Prompt submission and voting will start two days before, with four day to write your short story and couple days for the poetry minific. Think a couple of days to art things. I guess.

This post is not made by an AI - I'm not an AI. Just like making posts nice looking. There is a cat on my lap and the claws are digging into my skin. No, I will not post a cat pic.

There was a tie for best picture between Griseus's "I Win!" and Anonymous's Spilling Over.

Heavy_Mole's "Windows" won the gold for their story.

I have nothing witty to add.

Here are the results of this month's poetry contest:

"On the Dreariness of Carrying a Hod of Bricks Downhill" by Groaning Grey Agony got the gold this time:

It's good, short and on the surface it's about transporting bricks down a hill. I'm guessing the person doesn't have brakes on his wagon or is so in the zone. Or maybe they do and nothing bad will happen.
