Greetings to you, O worthy reader. You may call me Scheherazade for the purposes of this encounter. You may know of me as the Sultana, who appeared beside the Sultan on my recent visit to Equestria from the land you know as Saddle Arabia. But my tale is longer and darker than you may think, and many, many tales I have to tell. Here I come, if you will sit for but a time, to tell of the tales that brought me to sit beside the Sultan in our palace on the Marabian Peninsula. The Tales of the 1001 Marabian Nights.

The above extract is a personal message written from Queen Scheherazade to the citizens of Equestria, as introduction to her special edition biography. It was presented to Princess Twilight Sparkle on her first visit as foreign dignitary to Saddle Arabia.

Hello everypony!
After my recent trip to Saddle Arabia, I felt it worthwhile to share the storytelling marvels that are known in Saddle Arabia as the 1001 Marabian Nights, or Arabian Nightmares, you might say of some of them. The Queen, or Sultana, Scheherazade, had to go through a lot to get to where she is, and that involved storytelling. Not just any storytelling, but the telling of 1001 marvelous and fantastical stories over as many nights to her Sultan to avoid her certain death!
Here, I would like to gather all fans of this ancient collection of myths and legends that she told, to collectively enjoy their power.
If you happen to be a naked pink biped from a bizarre alternate univerve where monkeys worship our race over a complex communication system known as "The Internet", please put "ponified" versions of the Legends of The Arabian Nights and/or Arabian Nights themed or crossover fictions in the correct folders for this group.
