Totally agree about the first part. The game might be the weakest in the series, but the character and enemy design was quite nice.

I honestly think I prefer DMC's Dante in the personality department though. It is with a slim margin (#2 being from #3, so to speak) but I just liked him a bit better then the others.

But seriously, as much as I love DMC4 Dante, Devil My Cry 3 Dante is the best.
He's young, immature, inexperienced, a brash but witty smartass ready to take on whatever may come his way. He's the perfect balance of cynical and fun loving whil still retaining his corny sense of humor.

I prefer the Devil May Cry 4 version honestly i feel as long as the the character of Dante is alive then thats what the creator inteneded
