Am I the only one who can't stand shipping at all? Most of it is out of character and can at best hope to reach the level of quality of those cheap romance novels we get at pharmacies. It just seems like it's so prevalent that it cheapens fanfiction as a whole. Newcomers only see people fight over fictional character pairings, and might miss out on the actual good stories that explore the themes found in the show, rather than ignore it in favor of cheap romance.

On top of that, people are so lazy that they automatically assume every character is bisexual. This just screams bad writing to me.
