In my headcanon for Silver Spoon, Silvy is absolutely obsessed with Diamond Tiara - think Kaorin from Azumanga Daioh or Waylon Smithers' from The Simpsons. While Diamond Tiara no doubt appreciates Silver's loyalty and enjoys the attention she gives her, Diamond gets annoyed with with just how obsessed Silver Spoon can be at times.

As for Silver Spoon's cutie mark, I theorize that it has something to do with cooking. The silver spoon is a reference to her having a "silver tongue" and a good palate. She's also got a sweet tooth that rivals that of Pinkie Pie.
