I tend to goof around with dialects and bits of foreign language in my stories, but my editor gave me a good slapping when I tried to do a bit with a Bitalian hill-griffon speaking broken Italian in one of my current chapter drafts. Is there someone who could give my (largely google-translate fueled) broken Italian a pass-over and see if anything stinks in particular? It's supposed to be in a fantasy-medieval version of Bologna or the mountains in the vicinity - 'north-east of Roam, among the higher peaks of the Pinions'.
