I find it all too common for me to throw in characters into an rp that are not from my extensive character list. It also occured to me that other people have made awesome characters I'd like to use, or see used in suiting environments. So I give you this;

An NPC thread.

Should you choose you may put characters here (only yours of course) that could be used in other rps as NPCs. Submitting a character means that you agree that the auther of the thread will do their best to remain true to your character's personality, but also that they may not always be shown in a particularly flattering light. If you're the kind of person who would put up a fuss about your oc being bested in a story, please refrain from posting your character here.

This place will operate just like the character quick check, but with a few changes.

Since these will be npc versions of the characters we've all made, the specifics of their stats are somewhat up to the GM. A pony whose special talent is quantum psychics wouldnt be portrayed as an idiot, but just because his fire arms skill is poor doesnt mean the gm has to play them as a bumbling fool whenever they touch a gun, understand?

This is, first and foremost, a place where interesting background ponies can be developed for threads that want to use them.

Of course, ponies that are designed as npcs may be posted here as well. Ill come up with some sort of NPC character sheet in the near future. It'll be simple and quick, providing the basic information about a pony, their skills, their backround and have an extensive place for their personality. What is a npc without personality?

Remember, if you want to use a character, you should go find them on the character board as well, and pay close attention to the personality and History sections. Also if you have any questions about a character posted here, the owner is obligated to answer those questions... Not that they really wouldn'tcause the people here are cool about that stuff, but now its important that they answer...

Six-Shot: A pre-war ghoul who has a tree growing out of his head. Fancies himself a cowpony and isn't bad with his double pistols.

Everborne- Changeling ruler, great talker and rather smart. Likes explosions when he must fight, but prefers manipulation.

Trinity- Unicorn Cyber pony. Great with lasers, built in weapon systems. Cybernetics are too advanced to be of this world... Where did they come from?

Xero-Consumate Assassin. Preferring extreme close range or extreme long range kills. Precision and stealth.

East Coast-Brilliant scientist who comes from a troubled place. Strives to overcome his birth caste with his brilliant mind. Arrogant and rather socially awkward.

Gruff-Former Talon merc, exiled for a lack of professionalism. Duel wielding pistols, and liberal applications of high yeild explosives are a trade mark of his as he tries to either regain his place amongst talon, or forge a name for himself as a bird to get shit done.

Cazador Sombris-Sociopathic cult leader and gifted shadowmancer. Seeks deification through powers garnered from ancient artifacts that hold an essence of ancient evils. Highly persuasive, startling intellect, and a mastery of dark magic with a penchant for clever tricks and traps make him deadly when fighting from shadows... Though he isn't much in a head on fight.

Mirage- Zebra scientist with loose morals. Easily taken in by technology. She is the kind of person who dissects a live specimen without a second thought. The enjoys being in charge, she enjoys being admired, she enjoys the thrill of physical relations. She's a mare who knows she is attractive, and isn't afraid to use her good looks for personal gain.

Shepard Pie- As crazy as he is wise, Shepard is another toaster repair pony who found that he dealt with freedom by helping others. He turned to preaching the good word of Pinky Pie, making pastries, jokes, rhymes, and friends where ever he can. Of course he is not opposed to violence, and is more than comfortable feeding any threat an explosive pastry.

Mournful Canto- One part preacher, one part raider, one part bard, all parts zealot, Canto is a pony of a darker faith. He is blind but is fully capable of facing any threat, believing that no matter how the sortie ends, he will be fine. Preferring stealth, explosives or just talking out the issue than a straight fight, he is not dainty and is fully capable in a full on fight.

Angelic Anarchy - A.k.a Golden Dreams, this pegasus mare is a firebrand among her kind. She is direct, impulsive, violent and rather sweet when you get to know her. A true friend, she won't take shit. She ran from the enclave before she could have a dishonorable discharge. She is a savant at smashing faces with both power armored hoof, magical bat, and fiery explosives.

Spearmint- A sharpshooter who fancies herself a law pony. She hates evil and terminates it with extreme prejudice. Brilliant at mid to long range combat, and moderately decent at negotiation and cooking.

Debonaire- Machinist, Energy weapon specialist, Gentlecolt.

Cold Harbor- Psycho bitch.

French Toast- A master of combat and consummate killer turned preacher and wanderer. After meeting a special somepony who met an unfortunate end, French Toast took on his identity, and carries forward along the trail of life in his name.

(I would love it if other people used my OC's for their own RP's. I have six OC's for use, and each of their virtues corresponds to the virtues of the Elements of Harmony, though they aren't strong enough in their virtues to be the Elements of Harmony.)

Angel- Unicorn. A scientist from Friendship City and now she works with the Followers of the Apocalypse. She specialises in cybernetics and old world technology typically found in stables. There is nothing about terminals that she doesn't know. She is a well accomplished medical pony and has access to plenty of medical supplies, such as healing potions, Med-X and RadAway, to treat any injuries the players have when they are with her. She is also a master negotiator. She abhores fighting, instead tries to resolve conflicts peacefully with words. However, she is very weak and inexperienced in combat. When she is forced to fight, only as a last resort, she keeps a laser pistol hidden in her tail, but when she has to use it, she usually runs to the back of the fighting and takes her time trying to get a clear, accurate shot. She has a very low damage threshold. She has a preference for mares. Kindness.

Blitz- Unicorn. He has amnesia and he doesn't remember anything about his past. He is a business owner in Junction Town, and he collaberates with the NCR. He uses his caps to fund many expeditions. When he does, he joins the expedition in order to protect his investment to make sure that it pays off. While he is honest, he is not above keeping somethings value to himself, but not at the expense of someones safety. He is very loyal and will never abandon someone in need. In a fight, he is absolutely lethal with a sniper rifle at long range, and up close, he uses an assault rifle.(Note: He can never appear in the same RP as Lightning.) Loyalty.

Snowbelle- Unicorn. A little filly, who still doesn't have her cutie mark. However, she is very smart for her age, and she is capable of repairing and maintaining advanced cybernetics. Due to her age, she doesn't like fighting, but she does carry around a 10mm pistol for protection just in case. She is very close to Lightning, who she views as her mother. Laughter.

Pumpkin Cake- Alicorn. First generation alicorn, from before the war. The character from the series. Others usually avoid her because she's a first generation alicorn, but she doesn't mind. Being an alicorn and over 200 years old has made her magic very strong, so she fights with her magic and her bare hooves instead of weapons. Her magic attacks are as powerful as energy weapons (Laser weapons, not plasma weapons). She's a blue alicorn, so she's capable of invisibilty. She also has a playful nature and enjoys playing practical jokes on others, buts it's all in good fun. She is also very dedicated; when she sets her mind to something, she gives it her all. Magic.

Dawn- Changeling. Despite being a changeling, he doesn't like taking advantage of others and he is very honest. He is also quite smart and he knows when someone is trying to manipulate him. He also loves scavenging every container he comes across. In combat, he uses stealth and his shape shifting abilities to move around undetected and attack with melee weapons. Honesty.

Lightning- Pegasus. Personality wise, she initially comes off as cold and uncaring, but that's just because she has had a hard life and she finds it difficult to open up. She holds a high value for all life and she fights hard to protect those that she has come to trust. She specialises in sniping, and utilises a hunting rifle in close to medium range, though also has a firm understanding of energy weapons. Her hind legs have both been completely replaced with cybernetics. There is a slot in her cybernetics where she can place an energy weapon, which she can control mentally. (Can never appear in an RP with Blitz.) Generosity.

Pound Cake- Alicorn. Pumpkin Cake's son. He is small for an alicorn, but this reflects his happy and outgoing personality. He just wants to find a place to belong, but he also gets serious in combat. He never knew his father, but he is very close with his mother.
