After days of fighting, sweating, and bleeding, after what was practically considered to be a miniature war, Twilight and her Princess have returned home at last. A different take on alicorn ascension. Sixteen years after arriving in Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle is excited to have invented a brand-new kind of spell, but it will come with consequences she cannot possibly anticipate. Meanwhile, threats in shadows around the world conspire to overthrow the Solar Throne. With her world turned upside down, she will have to come to terms with the role that fate has dealt her while straining to keep Celestia in power.

When Princess Twilight Sparkle first appeared on the lawn of Jacob and Mary Klein, many people knew that things would never be the same for both Equestria and Earth.

Still magic, technology, and cultural exchange will transform the two worlds in ways no one could've expected, bringing new wonders and new terrors along the way.

The future is scary, but also very hopeful.

One thing's for sure: humans and Equestrians will be in for the ride of their lives.

There isn't going to be an overarching story arc. Just various vignettes exploring how both Equestria and Earth would influence each other.

One year after the reformation of her star pupil, Starlight Glimmer, Twilight Sparkle decides to look more into the forbidden mysteries known as Alternate Timelines. After tweaking around with Starswirl the Bearded's altered time spell, she tests it out in an open meadow.

But she honestly didn't expect it to work.

She honestly didn't expect to pull not one, but two blood-covered children from beyond the veil.

And she honestly didn't expect to find herself fighting for her life against a desperate monster.

She'd gone about her business, then she'd come back to her library, she'd said Spike goodnight and she'd curled up in her bed, ready to sleep the night away.
