In the time it took him to become fully aware of his surroundings, he noticed his parents were in fact not near him. His house… his parents, none of it was around him. He wasn’t home...

What if in an instant you lost your parents, your home, everything to a fire, and you were forced to move from your home to a new strange town with a mare you barely know? What if you lived your life with a sadness in your heart so strong you had to bury it deep so those around you wouldn't worry? Through the eyes of a young colt named sunny, you'll see how he deals with this and learns to live his life in happiness.
(There will be two more main characters not yet mentioned until very much later in the story)
