How do you improve on perfection, once perfection has become outlawed?
Pinkie hopes to find out, with the help of Pinkie and several (mostly) willing volunteers.
After all, nothing bad ever came from mixing high-sugar coffee drinks and highly experimental magic, right?

Written for the Quills & Sofa's "Expanded Universe 2" contest as a sequel to Grand_Moff_Pony's The Amazing Arcane Alicorn Frappe
Reading the prequel is not required, but will make certain aspects of this story clearer.

This story is the sequel to It's Good to Meet Bad, by the talented Atom Smash.

Several months ago, Tender Taps blew into Manehatten and auditioned for his first performance. Opening night he was terrified, until he met a tough-talking hairdresser who helped give him the confidence to step out onto the stage.

She also gave him the confidence to ask her out.

Time has passed, and now he's ready to audition for another, very different kind of show.

Written for Quills & Sofa's EU2 contest, where participants wrote sequels for another author's story. While reading the original wouldn't be necessary to enjoy this one, I highly recommend it.

Prereading provided by all the participants in the contest, including over twenty other very talented authors.

Particular thanks to Red Parade (yep, he's so cool he actually helped edit his own gift) and Wish for their help in getting the story ready

Amidst a busy and hectic life as a princess, Twilight hardly has time to see her lover anymore. Maybe it's time she changed that.

A Quills and Sofas speedwriting piece about a crack-pairing that I thought of with a friend. Maybe I'm biased but I quite like this ship! Second place story in a contest. Thanks to Applejackofalltrades, Mushroom, Wish, and Mel for their thoughts.

Cover art commissioned from Applejackofalltrades!

Love is so much more than warm hugs and kisses. Love is a language. Love is what we dream of, what we never had. It's everything we've left behind. Above all, love is being brave.

Content Warnings: this story involves the discussion of deceased loved ones in various forms. The story itself contains no actual on-screen deaths.

An entry for the Quills and Sofas Princess Cadance Contest, where it placed second. Thank you to Snow Quill, Shaslan, Emotion Nexus, Lofty Withers, wishcometrue, AFanaticRabbit, Applezombi, Seer, Decaf, Undome Tinwe, and NovelleTale for letting me break your hearts.

Other characters in the story: Big Mac, Cherry Berry, Daring Do, Cheerilee, Luna

Over the past few centuries, one of the only constants in Princess Twilight Sparkle's life is her friendship with Discord. There is absolutely no way their relationship will ever change.

This story was written as a Hearth's Warming gift for Snow Quill.

Thanks to Posh for prereading/feedback and Red for editing.

Now with a sequel!

Ever since Twilight blew back into Canterlot and insisted on becoming friends again, Moondancer’s life has been...better. Still not great, years of isolation can’t exactly be overturned overnight, but she is going outside more often at least.

One thing that is slow going, though, is getting her hygiene back under control. She had been doing the bare minimum for her mane and fur and unfortunately it was finally catching up to her…

That doesn’t mean she’s happy about getting a pity coupon. Moondancer is just going so she doesn't waste a gift. She doesn't really want to go. Honest.

CW - Heavy depression themes, self harm/self harm scars, and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Written for the Quills and Sofas Passion for Fashion contest with the prompt ‘faux pas’ and presented here with much expansion (this entry is over 5k words more than my original contest entry lol). Thanks to everyone who read and commented and helped me edit afterwards - you guys are amazing!

Cover art by me! (If you are an author looking for cover art, send me a dm!)
