Blog the second

Well here I am again, a mere two years (and two months) since my first blog.

I wonder what I should write about...

I did keep up my reading for a while after that post, and I have occasionally returned to read a chapter here or there, though as I so often do I drift away and forget to keep up to date on my favorite stories. Alas some of them have since been abandoned, or cancelled, as segments of the fandom seem to be drifting away much as I do on occasion. I can only hope some of the authors decide to surprise me with a sudden return, as some do now and again.

Life goes on. The past two years have been... A thing. Time has seemed to be more ficle than I'm used to. Stuck at home, not being able to see family for too long, my body finally telling me that I'm not a teenager any more, it's been a time of more downs than ups. But even still, on the whole I am mostly happy I think, and when I do periodically return to reading pony fiction I find my spirits lifted and wonder why I ever left in the first place.

I finally discovered Scribbler productions on youtube. I always have loved audiobooks and devour them prodigiously, so having a reliable source of decent quality fanfic readings is a game changer. Several of my recent liked stories are precisely from listening to their readings. And I cannot forget the Ministry of Image. Finally being able to buy hard copies of some of my favorite pony stories has really made my bookshelf at least 20% cooler, if you can forgive me using an ancient meme.

Seems I did write another blog post after all.
