I got not much to say, but, I don't know how many of you have knowledge of Total War 2: Fall of the Samuri, cause I'm doing a challenge I thought of on my own. Katana Kachi only run.
I posted it on steam 2 days ago, and would like to hear your guys' opinion. And yes, there is a poll!
KATANA KACHI!!!!!!!!
Tell me, what is the best faction to do a Katana Kachi only run?
Rules:
1. You can only use the Katana Kachi in your army.(This does not limit the general/Daimyo for as long as they're a sword unit or can be on foot.)
2. The navy can still be used, but you cannot use navel bombardment of any kind. (Navel invasions are O.K.)
3. You can only use Japanese agents. (No bribing/converting unless it's for more Katana Kachi or generals. Can also convert agents, except foreigners.)
4. If garrison is attacked, you have one of two options.
Either auto resolve and lose the settlement or somehow make the exception that this is the only way to play when defending since the garrison isn't just Katanas.
5. You MUST use the base game to complete the run. It is optional to mod the game and just say 'Oops, All Katanas!' and beat the game that way.
Tell me your thoughts about this! I really want to try this and don't have a whole lot of time on my hands to do the research. What starting clan is best to make this work.
