Twilight vs Moondancer differences analysis

Unlike many people, I always believed that despite looking and seeming similar to each other Moondancer and Twilight are actually quite different.

Moondancer when she had no friends looked downright messy and was kind of cranky. Twilight on the other hand when she had no friends was well groomed with her near looking mane and polite even if annoyed. I always took Twilight as more professional like a civil servant which I think she kind of is. Look at their manestyles and how Moondancer's mane has unkempt hair.

And even more so when they were fillies and working on making a saltlick cube, Moondancer supposedly read ahead to find the right ingredients only for Twilight to correct and for Moondancer humiliatingly realizing she got the wrong. Twilight would probably never have made that mistake. You can also tell Twilight looked kind of irritated with Moondancer.

And finally in this picture you can see Moondancer seeking friendship whereas Twilight looks like she is there reluctantly.

With this here's my analysis. Twilight before Ponyville was willingly isolated, a prodigy, professional and not that socially awkward.

Moondancer on the other hand was shy but seeked companionship, smart but also unorganized, I'll disciplined, and a social trainwreck around others.

I think Moondancer saw Twilight as her role model. In fact I always saw it that Moondancer styled her mane to be like Twilight.

And the problem is deep down Twilight did want friends and for all of Moondancer's clumsiness, she did feel a bond deep down but she felt like friendship was pointless. And Moondancer took that to mean Twilight didn't want to hand out with a social reject like her.

That's my long analysis, what do you think? I never lijed when people would joke about how samey they are when in my opinion they are actually fairly different from each other.
