1. Jason's mutterings of Ch ch ha ha, is a reference to his mother Pamela from the original FT13, when she said "Kill her, mommy!" In Jason's voice.

2. Sean Cunningham wanted to make his movie FT13 so badly, he put out an Ad in the newspaper promoting its release before anything was even filmed or he had funding.

3. Sean Cunningham's original name for FT13 was, Long Night At Camp Blood.

4. In Evil Dead 2, Freddy's claw glove is seen above the door in the shed.

5. Alex Vincent who played Andy on Child's Play, thought he'd get in trouble for cussing during a scene, so when auditioning he faked not knowing the script, the people were impressed he was so convincing of this, they gave him the part.

6. John Carpenter and Debra hill wrote the entire script of Halloween in just 10 days.

7. The original title for Halloween was The Babysitter Murders.

8. Ghostface's robe was originally white, but it was changed to black, out of fear it looked like a KKK outfit.

9. The original Saw film only took 18 days to film due to its limited use of sets.

10. The child actor who plays Sam in Trick R Treat, can be seen out of makeup as the little boy in the store watching the teen girls try on costumes.

11. The Texas ChainSaw Massacre’s Original Title Was Head Cheese.

12. To get all the shots needed of the cat Church on the original Pet Semertary, seven different cat actors were used.

13. Heather Donahue, the actor of Blair Witch was paid barely anything for her role. After the movie raked in $250 million, she expected another payment, instead she was just given a fruit basket.

14. John Carpenter was paid $10k to write, direct, and score 'Halloween.' Yet he also secured for himself complete creative control, above-the-title billing, and a spot behind the scenes for cowriter/producer Debra Hill.

15. Stephen King based Carrie White on two girls he knew while at school, both were social outcasts from deeply religious families and both died while still in their twenties.

16. During the scene in Evil Dead where Ash is about to cut up his girlfriend with a chainsaw, Bruce Campbell actually had to use a real chainsaw and hold it up to the actress’s chest. You can see on the close-up of Linda’s neck that her pulse is racing.

17. E.T was originally a horror movie, the project was initially titled Night Skies and was planned to be a sequel to Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Squee!

The queen has returned!

Discovered a handful of these facts while fishing for the craziest ones I could find, XD

With #6, I assume you're referring to Halloween? 🤭

I can imagine some still being terrified of E.T. regardless, the wrinkly bastard.

Lol, yeah I'm just tired.

1. Actually that makes a whole lick of sense.

2. He was pretty gutsy. Not many directors would do that.

3. That is definitely a mouthful. Back then, I'd have shortened it to 'Camp Blood'. But even then that still makes it sound like a B Horror movie.

4. Sounds to me like members of the crew were 'Nightmare on Elm Street' fans.

5. And look how Alex Vincent would turn out since! He'd be involved in quite a few movies since, even an appearance in Season 2 of 'Chucky'. Now granted, we don't know if he's actually 'dead' because if there is no body, it doesn't count.

6. Sort of like how 'Blood and Honey' was shot in ten days.

7. Sounds like a parody of the Babysitter's Club if it was turned into a CW horror series.

8. Not to mention all the actual KKK members might've felt they were being targeted... which I would find greatly amusing.

9. Given the production of 'Saw', I probably wouldn't argue with that.

10. That's right, I do remember that ordeal. Too bad the kid might be too old to reprise the role for the rumored sequel.

11. 'Head Cheese'? Yeah... I'm not sure if such a movie would get any more sequels. Course, we wouldn't know if that exact title has not already been attempted since.

12. Makes total sense. Some movies require a multitude of animal actors (Like 'Milo & Otis').

13. Talk about getting screwed over. Hope it was at least a 'good' fruit basket.

14. Talk about wanting to make certain that Hill got as much out of that film experience.

15. Those poor girls. Society can be so cruel, which is why I can hardly understand humans.

16. Damn... good thing nobody actually got hurt. But nothing as horrible as having your teeth actually pulled out in

McKamey Manor

17. I could almost see why it would 'look' that way, but definitely one of those horror movies that mainly focus on the scares and suspense without much of the blood and violence. Then again, that same guy who made a 'Titanic 2' sequel trailer on YouTube also made a fanmade horror sequel for 'E.T.' and it stresses on horror.

I can respect this must've taken all night to get all this together, you deserve a rest.
