Having been a fan of the RE-verse for a good while now, it's pretty unbelievable even to think this opportunity happened. I say that as a creative who has absolutely enjoyed exploring all this AU has to offer, first as a graphic designer, then as a character creator and roleplayer, and now as an editor! It also helps that the author is quite fun to work with. Thanks Apple!

No prior experience with Rekindled Embers is required, though I recommend reading both at some point. This fic is more of a prequel, I'd say, as well as a side story branching out from the established universe.
