Okay, so I was able to catch the new episode early, thanks to the Internet and marketing techniques.
HERE'S THE THING... I feel like it is uncannily familiar in just enough ways to make me wonder if there is a writer who has glanced at my story. I wouldn't be so pretentious as to say it's undeniable, but it certainly felt weird reading ideas I wrote in a story in July shown in an episode in December. I wouldn't be offended if they were a writer, and frankly, if I found out, I'd be thrilled. I am just still so "wat." It's one thing to parrot the show's events through a different perspective, it's another to write new ideas to propel the story forward. I'm DEFINITELY not the first writer who has probably experienced this, and like I said, there's NO evidence beyond circumstance that says it's anything other than fluke, but I'm still wowed. I may elaborate more on Monday, or something, but just... my brain is priding itself, and at the same time, it's highly cautious not to be too arrogant about what could be entertaining coincidence.
The episode is good, but my mind is on other things. It's probably fluke, I keep telling myself, but it's just... gah. Lol. Such is life.
IF there is a writer on this page, and they could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were, indeed, a writer for the show, and they read this, I'd LOVE to know. XD That's asking an awful lot, though.
Corrected by KMCA: writers can't read fics. Still, it's fascinating to me.
The writers aren't allowed to read fanfics. Just saying
lol I know that feeling.
I guess I'll know what you're talking about on saturday, lol. I refuse to watch the new ep early.
608655 That answers my question XD So it is just funny coincidence
This was probably an idea they had for a while, considering this episode was maid well before July. But yeah, it is a coincidence!
