Hello, everyone! I hope this blog post finds you well, because I know it's been a while since my last post. 
Firstly, I wanted to apologize for having such a long delay. It's been just over two months, and while I have been active on the site, I can't say that my writing has been anywhere near as lively. I would love to say, "I just got a bit lost in the woods! You know, not seeing the forest for the trees?" But just like how Zinnia learned that she couldn't lie to herself and others forever, neither can I.
I've been struggling with how I wanted to continue with her story. I have SO many things planned for Zinnia, and so many moments I want to share with everyone here! But getting there has been really challenging for me, since "Loyalty" ended on such a clean note. (Well, clean for me at least.) I was on the verge of burning myself out trying to think of a good way to continue, but I'd come so far that I didn't want it to end like that.
Then Final Fantasy XIV happened...
However, and I cannot express this enough, our community here is an absolute gem hidden in the rough, gritty quarry that is the internet. So many beautiful people here have been speaking with me recently and helping me out, probably without realizing it! I wanted to reach out and sincerely thank those of you who have stuck with me, and even every new reader and follower that's joined since my last chapter. Every single one of you are dearly special to me, and I don't think I can ever convey how much just the little bit of time you gave to me means to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! 
Especially to those few who've been in contact with me recently and helped me work through some ideas I've been mulling over. You know who you are. 
I've started writing the next arc of Zinnia's story, so expect to see a new chapter dropping in the next week or so with more to come soon after!
Also, there may or may not be a new story coming soon too. But don't tell anyone that I put that little bug in your ear!

I can't wait to post it! I'd be lying though if I said I wasn't a little nervous about it. It's the beginning of a new arc, and I really hope I can capture the feel of coming to a close and beginning something new.
