FotW update and new release schedule · 8:58am Sep 25th, 2022
Hey y'all,
Before anything, I do wanna thank everyone who's been reading FotW, it means a lot every time I see the like counter go up, or a bookshelf notification. Or hell, even when there's just a sudden spike in views. I pour a lot of effort into the fic, and knowing people are enjoying it always makes my day.
Just a short little update to say that things are going well in terms of writing, and that the fic is almost finished. (A complete FoE sidefic, in 2022? wow! glimmer!). Oh, and the next chapter will still be out today, as usual.
The exact release schedule will depend on a few unknown variables, but ideally I do wanna switch to a weekly release if things go well. Except the last two chapters; those will either be published at he same time, or within a day of each other.
I'll also be switching to Wednesday releases after the next chapter. Reason for that is that I feel like the fic gets noticed more easily during the week (which is also why I've been publishing chapters on Fridays and Mondays, even though I could have very well stuck to my Sunday schedule). Maybe it's just a case of a different set of people seeing it, I dunno.
But yeah, all that to say that things are moving along nicely. I even have a special little thing to celebrate the end of the fic, but I won't share it until the last chapter is actually done and published. Bit of a rambly blog post, but that's what they're there for, right?
