Chapter 5 Rough Draft Complete · 10:03pm Sep 21st, 2022
Thanks to everyone for their patience. The draft is sitting at 4786 words right now. I've sent it to most of my prereaders.
I needed a bit longer of a break than I thought. I also really want to get Grand Marshal on one of my characters in Vanilla Classic WoW so I've been working on that. It's one hell of a grind, even today with barely anyone playing. No really, there are people still playing the original classic version! We have to organize mock PvP events to get enough honorable kills to even allow for Grand Marshals to even exist, but people still raid everything from Zul-Gurub to Naxxramas in my server cluster (Westfall, Pagle, Ashkandi, Mankrik, and Windseeker for those who want to join).
I will not be playing Wrath of the Lich King. It's a good version of WoW but you only really need to play that once and I've already helped slay the Lich King. That game is beat so far as I'm concerned.
My story is still picking up likes even though it looks as dead as stories go. Again, I am humbled by the love this story is being shown even now. I do intend to finish this story. Over my long absence, I've structured my thoughts on the project as a whole and feel a lot more comfortable about it now.
I really hope future installments can live up to the standard set by the current ones. I can't give you an exact ETA but a few days to a week seems fair. If I decide to take the chapter longer, I'll post another blog explaining the hangup. See you in the comments.

My favorite story resumes. I’ll be giving it my prereader pass tonight, and we’ll see what we got. And don’t worry about it. We all need breaks now and again, especially when something else grabs our attention like an old friend of a game.
