I have an incredible good video game idea

I have an incredible good idea for a video game that will revolutionise the gaming industry as we know it. I just need at least 50 artists, 2 coders (it's just typing anyway, and the most code will be written by ChatGPT) and funding of at least one million dollars (I'm sure this fandom will volunteer to give it to me).

    Weird Sensitivity

In itself, I always was someone who was a bit more touch-sensitive. It isn't exactly a feeling of being tickled, but especially when I get touched by surprise, I twitch quite aggressively or slap the hand away.

A New Empathy - An SCP-Crossover Series · 6:04pm Sep 21st, 2022

Not long after starting to write fimfics, I got back into the SCP-series, and then I published The Moth Wearing a Helmet and The Perfect Photo, two stories with each one SCP in there. It didn't took long for me to try to come up with how the Foundation would try to contain the Equestrian magic or the Rainbooms etc.

I especially like how fitting the EqG-series is for a crossover with the SCP world: A portal and magic are suddenly introduced into the world where magic didn't exist before. Considering the lack of outburst in the human world or lack of any governmental interferrences, there is a certain creative freedom on why exactly the Rainbooms are just living with the magic now and everyone accepts it without further questioning. One could of course take the route of, for example, Principal Celestia Hunts the Undead and have the magic be nothing special, but if one pairs the EqG world with the Foundation, magic doesn't exists — publicy.

Of course I am not the first one to pair Equestria Girls with the SCP world. With The Secret of the Human World, the Foundation takes immediate action during the Equestria Girls movie, and in Dispose of Carefully we follow an investigation after the movie.

However, I wanted to stay with canon (more or less), or, in other words, have a reason why the Rainbooms are allowed to live freely in Canterlot City despite being clearly anomalous and why different SCPs suddenly interact with them or others living in Canterlot City.

And that's what "A New Empathy", the series, is all about. It has and will have two kind of stories: Those that are oneshots and just pair SCPs with one or multiple EqG characters (or used as establishing fics for certain characters/abilities), and those that tell a continuous story, slowly revealing and explaining what is going on — especially why there are seven instead of six Elements of Harmony, and why Sunset Shimmer became the Element of Empathy.

This list is of course far from finished, as several fics are planned, but I will update the blog whenever new ones are out.

Without further ado, here is the list of stories set in "A New Empathy":

A New Empathy - Main Series (in chronological order):

  1. New in Canterlot City
  2. Dashing Through Paranormalities
  3. Old Empathy

Side Stories (no particular order):

Hey, I know you! You are the writer of Dispose of Carefully. Didn't even had to look it up. You remember me? I am that guy who killed innocent children and you stole some ideas from me. I am your biggest (probably) fan! Still mad about you stealing from me BTW.
