Newsies #46: That's Life · 7:38pm Aug 30th, 2022
So. There's been a LOT happening in the life of this one sad brony, lately.
Started with me and my mom being forced to change shifts at work, due to her medical issues, which left me with what felt like no time to write anything.
Then, I got diagnosed with High Blood Pressure, which I'm now on meds for.
Oh, and then we had a bloody car crash. We're fine, thankfully, but it totalled our car. We've since got a new one, and are in the process of trying to sue the pants off the driver of the other car. He was drunk as a skunk at the time, so fully responsible, but of course he's fighting it.
There's been . . . so much stress, lately. I've also been really enjoying gaming with friends in my off time, not even streaming it, just gaming. I feel like that, at least, is finally at a point where I always wanted it to be.
Now. What about my stories?
If you look through my list, you'll see a LOT of them that were on hiatus have now been cancelled. This is because i need to be realistic here: If a story has been sitting on hiatus for two years, it's HIGHLY unlikely that I'll regain any interest in writing on it. A couple are still listed as On Hiatus, as they are ones I may return to. Also, you'll see, that Timberjack is On Hiatus as well. This is due to how long it's been since I worked on it, that I've lost my steam and my motivation.
All that said . . . I do have some ideas starting to percolate. One for a one shot, short, Slice-Of-Life, wholesome story. The other for a long form series, similar in structure to Timberjack, but following a character that has long been a favorite of mine, but which I've recently come to terms with, as being one of my favorite ones to write anything about.
You'll see them, should I actually get them done and publish them. I'm not giving myself deadlines or time limits on things. I'll work on them as I feel like it, and as I can.
And, most likely, I will return to Timberjack, eventually, as well. I do really enjoy writing that story, and have a lot of good ideas for it, still.
Anyway, I hope to see you all again, soon! Until then, Harmonia Invictus, ponies!
I'm sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing. The only thing I can do is wish you better times and that I've enjoyed your writing. Do what you need to make your life easier and better, and I hope the trial of the drunk driver ends with a resounding victory in your favor.

Thank you! It means a lot to hear that you've liked the things I've done. I've always said, that's all I want from doing this is to make others happy.
Hopefully, you'll be getting some more from me, soon! Stay tuned! I'm not gone!
