Considerations

Hey guys sorry if I haven’t been as active the passed weekend, I was with my family camping at the military Odyssey in…Kent dimpling? I can’t remember but it was in the UK and near London or so I believe.

Anyway on to the main topic, see whilst I was out some thoughts about C&C:ED crossed my mind. Reason being I am working on another big story that in the future might topple C&C:ED and become my main focus leaving that story in hiatus limbo like so many other stories.

I had considered two options (Three if you include simply continuing the status qwo but I decided to limit it to two instead)

One: After uploading the next chapter I’ll cancel Command and Conquer: Equestrian Dawn, it’ll leave the story on a cliffhanger sure but I feel like the next chapter would be a good stopping point since it closes the first arc.

Two: Cancel the story without uploading a new chapter but open it up for adoption, since Rebirth of a Ghost gathered certain people willing to continue the story (even if not in the direction I envisioned) I hoped C&C:ED would encourage a similar following.

The reason why I’m considering these options is because the other story I’m writing on has more…depth would be the best word, I was able to write in more detail and get a sense of direction I couldn’t with C&C:ED. I’ve also thought about writing character profiles or something similar to add to the “sense of direction” I was going for. Write in the comments what options I should go for, I’ll post a blog next Saturday to tell you which option I’ll go for.

I’ve also started considering writing shorter stories or One Shots to refine my writing style but no definitive stories yet.

So yeah I’m terribly sorry I know I said I will not abandon this story but life has a way of improving yourself in a way that makes you rethink your goals, at least I’m giving you guys a heads up and not leaving C&C:ED in a limbo like so many others.
