For anyone who is not aware of Level Dasher, I'm sorry you didn't meet the amazing and charismatic young man. He'd been here for 10 years and gone through so much. Including two heart transplants...Only to be taken early this morning by the bitch Cancer.

I wasn't expecting this...Not at all and I have spent much of the last hour or so since learning in tears... He was a dear beloved friend and I am devastated that I won't hear any more of his

ooo....
sorry to hear it

shit, sorry to hear that, best of luck dealing with this.

Damn, that's some rough shit right there.

What happened?

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I know the feeling of getting flooded— NOT FUN in the slightest. :fluttershyouch:

Flood of some kind. Water intrusion, or a burst pipe?

EDIT: Naturally, moments after I type that, I come home to find a burst pipe.

Whoa......what the heck......happened?

Seen far worse
If only in a basement

At least you caught it before it got any deeper.

Do you know how it happened I mean it happened at our house one time but that was because the inside water hose that led to the ice maker in the fridge broke.

Been there… twice. Once the washer, once dishwasher.

To this day wife refused to let any appliance run unless someone is awake/home to check on it.

Get those moister absorbers in bulk and have air CONStantly moving for the next two weeks. The combo should, hopefully, prevent any mold and stave off most mildu.

Man, that reminds me of that one time someone put laundry detergent in the dishwasher. I didn't even know it was possible for that much foam to come out of a closed dishwasher, but the kitchen floor was covered.

Oh my God, just the other day my dishwasher gave out like that.

Would that be a washing machine leak?
Yeah, I saw this 45mins after the initial post, but I had to get going for work.

Have you had the machine long? Under warranty?
I service these things and when a laundry appliance does that, the manufacturer is liable for damages if the unit is at fault.

But if you’re like me, and just got a secondhand thing, then bugger.

That really is depressing, I’m so sorry.

Damn. This happened to me back in January, only it was the pipe to the backyard's outer faucet, for hoses and the like. Happened due to a bit of winter weather we'd had some days prior.

We still haven't fully fixed the damage to the floor...

That massively sucks and I'm massively sorry. :(
