A Lonely, Wandering Heart Ch. 4 Snippet · 3:41pm Aug 28th, 2022

‘ My grandfather, my father’s father, did all this Hearth’s Warming Eve shopping when he knew he had a heart disease?’ I thought.

When grandpa was alive, he always did Hearth Warming Eves shopping in a variety of places in Equestria: Manehattan, Vanhoover, Ponyville, and Canterlot were his ideal spots. He loved shopping for quality gifts, fancy or not. How would I describe the previous gifts he purchased during the busy winter holidays previously? They were unique, memorable, and worth keeping.

But what was underneath all that wrapping paper? What did he get for each of my friends? I wonder.

Grandpa always had a special innate ability when it came to gift giving, he knew immediately what somepony wanted for any occasion. He always followed the motto. “It’s better to give than to receive”. He always forgot every Hearth’s Warming to purchase himself something. ‘Oh Grandpa’.

I transfer my mind back to reality…

It feels wrong to post this cause it’s not even December yet. But it’s a holiday MLP story I still intend to continue. I cannot guarantee to anyone when this chapter will be updated because I am still needing ideas for chapter 4.

I do not mind when the reader has commented ‘when is the next chapter?’ But I can’t answer one’s question exactly.

Some facts about the Dr. Hooves and Twilight Sparkle:
- They’re childhood friends, their parents were friends in school.
- Relationship: like brother and sister

I forgot to clarify: Night Dusk is Night Light’s father. (Also one of my OCs in the making. Haven’t had time to sketch him out.) Twilight’s father’s father. Who is actually the sick friend Twilight Sparkle is visiting? IT IS Coco Pommel.
