This is probably gonna piss off the die-hard Hasbro defenders, but I really don't care. It has to be said. Spike's finale design was UGLY as FUCK. He should've been the most human-looking character out of the entire cast. Instead Hasbro went the Sonic Boom route and made him a big dumb idiot. Even during the series he was usually the butt of the joke. It was actually really fucking sad considering Twilight was supposed to be the big sister/surrogate mother role. I'm not a good artist by any stretch of the imagination, but you tell me which design makes more sense just based on his anatomy (clothes not withstanding as that was my own addition for a martial arts/DBZ feel).

I don't know. I like the look. Whether you like it or not, I wouldn't think they did him dirty. They gave Spike what he wanted. To be bigger and stronger, to no longer be a baby dragon. But that's just how I look at it

That's the thing about my design. Not only does it look more proportionally accurate to what he should've been, but he's likely a hundred times stronger despite the size difference. Think of it as a Bruce Lee type design.

Back when I was a kid, the lean, cut superhero build was what everybody was into. That style stuck with me over the years. There's been sort of a surge of bulkier designs over the last few years and I really can't get into it. Something about smaller characters laying out big hulking monsters with minimal effort feels more satisfying to me for some reason.
