Well, this took longer than I wanted it to. Spent a few hours over the past couple of days just staring at lines of dialogue going "This is how I would say this, how would a narcissist say the same thing?" Trying to keep Chrysalis in villain mode and not being outright villainous is hard.
No seriously guys! You just need to give her a chance!
I started working on this chapter while waiting for edits to come in on Chapter 31 and got stuck with it in my head. Now that Chapter 5 is out in the world, I can refocus back on Electro Swing. Woo!
In other news, I shaved my head. I have terrible dandruff and wanted to see why it was so bad. Now that I can see it, I should probably go to a dermatologist. It's as red as a sunburn in various spots. Not fun. The cruel irony is, I've basically got peach fuzz on my head now and I still have terrible dandruff. Yikes! Gotta get this checked out. For now, we'll see about getting Chapter 32 out by the end of this week or next week. Monday and Tuesday are going to be eaten by mandatory training days over Zoom, which will be interesting if I decide not to wear a hat. I don't hate being shaved, but I'd probably freak people since I usually have hair. No, I won't be taking a selfie.
