New Story! Plus Other Updates · 9:14pm Jul 19th, 2022
It's been a little bit, but I'm back and I've got a new story to share!
Written for Bicyclette's The Twilight Files contest (all chapters will be published before the contest deadline), Letters to a Lost World is a story told entirely through a series of, well, letters and other dialogue sent through the interdimensional communication journal between the human world and Equestria. When a portal malfunction threatens to cut off Princess Twilight and the Rainbooms from each other forever, the Rainbooms send letters to show their appreciation and goodwill toward their old friend as both parties prepare for big changes in their lives.
New chapters will be published every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through the end of the contest period (UPDATE: Just kidding! New chapters DAILY!). I'm excited by the reception so far! I hope you enjoy and please leave a vote if you do!
Also, the cover art for the story is from D+CON, who was kind enough to lend me their permission to use!
I also wanted to note some other exciting Fimfic news. Namely, I placed in two recent contests! Apple Pie, a la Mode was named as a runner-up in the ApplePie contest, while The Same Mistake You're Making was an honorable mention in the A Thousand Words contest! Both contests had quite a few heavy hitters and the latter had over 100 entries, so I'm ecstatic to see these get recognized.
