Out of all my stories, Equestrias Wild Card is the one that I just can’t seem to move forward with, no matter how long I sit down and write. Mostly because of the setting and overall plot so far. I am considering that it might just be the story that I will unfortunately have to cancel. Which is sad for me because it’s my second most liked story and I know people really like it.
But I’ve started to lose interest in the original plot and have instead come up with a solution. So I ask; Do you guys want to see a rewrite of Equestrias Wild Card?
There will be some differences in the plot and overall setting, but I believe that these differences will help in it’s overall progress and to make it more in theme with how most Persona and Shin Megami Tensei stories play out. It will be in an alt. version of the EQG universe with some elements from Equestria, to help with world building, and it will be in a highschool setting just like all of the Persona games. The MC will be a transfer student named Snow Sincerity, which is one of the translation for one of the MC’s names from Persona 3. Depending on the characters used, Yuki can mean “snow,” “happiness,” or “snow flower.” While Makoto, depending on the kanji used can mean "sincerity" (誠) or "truth" (真, 眞).
The name for the remake will be Messiah of Cantelot High. What do you all think?

Agree and I really didn’t want to do it. But I just can’t make progress with it and was constantly having second thoughts on how to proceed. So I felt that a rewrite was the only way go about it.

Don’t worry, those aren’t going anywhere. It’s just this one which I felt that I was really making no progress on, which is why I felt that a rewrite would be the thing to save it.
I think a rewrite is a good idea
Will you be more SMT or Persona 3, 4, 5, or do your own spin on the formula?

I’d say my own spin that’s a bit of a mix with elements from both SMT and Persona. But unlike Equestrias Wild Card, it’s going to a bit more simple in it’s mechanics and have less elements for the sake of making it less complicated.

Rewrite maybe it's not a bad idea, after all. I enjoyed the original and hope the rewrite will be better.

I honestly really would like to see you do a rewrite of this fanfiction. I'd actually prefer that, over it just being axed and tossed into the trashcan to never be finished.
Honestly I think you could do better on a couple of things with a rewrite. Most notably how it seems the MC just kinda jumped into a relationship so soon into the story. Maybe hold off on the MC getting into relationships for just a little while.
