MN7 Relaunch! Seeking Feedback on the manner of how. · 4:37am Dec 12th, 2012

(Mostly copied from my tumblr, I'm seeking feedback and opinion on this)

The good news.

I have been cleared to write again…in a few days provided nothing worsens. Short of it getting worse again, they say I am in the clear so far as actual movement and use goes.

So…the plan is now for me to spend a couple more days to ensure it is actually fine with light typing on a side project I have to test the waters. If it’s all fine by Thursday/Friday then I’m going to move gradually into some final planning synopsis work for Chapter 16.

By the weekend, if all goes well…I will be back on the chapter again.

However. I have been definitely told to lower my pace for now. The reason is, my wrist is not 100% yet and it is still unknown as to whether there is a ganglion cyst in there or not. I am an exceptionally bony person so it’s hard to tell for them. As such, until every trace of feeling is gone, they don’t want me doing any “23 pages in one night” rushes like I have been known to.

So the Christmas release of Chapter 16…we’ll see. I have something special planned to help “relaunch” MN7 and give us all a good booster for the kickstart again. That may be in the New Year or so, which would give me a lot of time to help build another backlog.

So here’s my question to you guys. Would you prefer me to jump right for Chapter 16 and try and get it done by Christmas as a standalone, then work into the New Year for the “Act 2 relaunch” in January…which gives you a chapter sooner and puts us into the 3 week areas for a bit…

…or would you prefer that we waited until January for the surprise to be ready and I work on a backlog in that time, helping ensure more consistent updates in 2013, but meaning that there won’t be another one until the New Year?

Which works best for you guys?

I prefer the second option since it gives you more time to heal your wrist. Plus, since it is the new year, I would have instant updates to the PDF!

I'm gonna go with hunter on this one. More time for you to ease back into it sounds good to me.

You should wait and heal.

Second option!

I'm fine with waiting. Your readers will be too Fuzzy, we all want to see you get better first. If that means taking a more relaxed approach to your writing and going a a slower pace, then we'll all happily accept it. Besides we all have plenty of other fics etc, we can read/catch up on will we wait for you to heal. So to recap, take your time and don't push yourself too hard :raritywink:.

Ah vote for option two.

I can wait. I'm not selfish enough to demand that you push yourself so soon after all of this ;P

I wonder what this "relaunch" is.

I agree with everyone else, Im fine with waiting a little longer if it means you have more time to heal.
